A new UFC is coming
Electronic Arts has announced EA Sports UFC 6, the next entry in its long-running mixed martial arts franchise. The game is currently in development for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, continuing the series’ focus on current-generation consoles.
The announcement confirms that the new title will not be released on older platforms, as the franchise fully transitions to next-gen hardware.
EA Sports UFC 6 is expected to build on the foundation of its predecessor with improvements to gameplay, presentation, and overall realism inside the Octagon. While full details are yet to be revealed, early information points to refinements in striking mechanics, smoother animations, and improved fighter responsiveness.
As with previous entries in the series, the game aims to deliver an authentic MMA experience, combining licensed fighters, realistic environments, and competitive gameplay systems.
Although a release date has not yet been confirmed, digital pre-orders are already live, giving players an early look at the available editions and bonus content.
