The Ninja Saviours: Return of the Warriors, a self-remastered version of the 1994 sequel to TAITO’s 1987 arcade classic The NinjaWarriors, The original console beat ’em Up has been completely redesigned by Tengo Project with new moves and combinations, two new characters, two-player co-op, fluid, even more, hand-animated pixel imagery, and an enhanced soundscape on top of that!

Choose one of five android ninjas—each with a special ninjutsu technique—and join Mulk’s revolutionary army to face off against Banglar’s army alone or with a ninja partner.

Return of the Warriors increases its playfield from a narrow 16:9 to a wide 4:3, adding substantially redesigned backgrounds, even more fluidly animated characters, and exploding pyrotechnics while keeping the 16-bit aesthetic of the original. A newly composed soundtrack plus unlockable soundtracks from the arcade and 16-bit console versions of the game by Zuntata make up the improved soundtrack.

Even seasoned ninjas will find the various difficulties challenging, and Time Attack lets you compete on leaderboards with the world’s quickest ninjutsu experts!
