Crystal Dynamics and PLAION are bringing physical editions of Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered to consoles this November, giving fans another way to own the remastered classic.
The game will receive new physical editions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on November 13, 2026.
The physical release is being developed by Crystal Dynamics alongside co-developer PlayEveryWhere and distributed by PLAION.
Standard and Deluxe Editions
The Standard Edition will retail for $29.99 / €29.99, which is approximately GH₵330
The Deluxe Edition will cost $49.99 / €49.99, equivalent to approximately GH₵550.
The Deluxe Edition includes:
- A copy of Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered
- SteelBook case
- Official soundtrack on CD
- 80-page art book
- Digital comic book reader featuring three classic Legacy of Kain comics
- A demo of the previously unreleased sixth game, Legacy of Kain: The Dark Prophecy
Nintendo Switch Version Comes as a Code
Nintendo Switch players should note that the physical edition will be a code-in-a-box release, meaning the package will not contain a physical game cartridge.
The games is already available digitally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
PC players can purchase the game through Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
The Deluxe Edition could be particularly interesting for longtime fans, as it includes a demo of Legacy of Kain: The Dark Prophecy, the previously unreleased sixth entry in the franchise.
