KAGE Shadow of the Ninja coming to old-gen and new-gen consoles
KAGE Shadow of the Ninja has been revealed for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC (Steam) by Natsume Atari and Tengo Project. It will be available in English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese in the spring of 2024.
KAGE Shadow of the Ninja is a remake of the Nintendo Entertainment System title Shadow of the Ninja (released in Europe as Blue Shadow).

Traditional two-player gameplay
The critically acclaimed two-player side-scrolling ninja action is back. Players can pick between two characters, one male and one female, each with their own special powers, and work together to defeat tough adversaries.
Previously Unseen Pixel Art Quality
Tengo Project’s commitment to 16-bit pixel aesthetics, as shown in its previous critically acclaimed title Pocky & Rocky Reshrined, continues in KAGE Shadow of the Ninja. The game’s look is formed by painstakingly made pixel art graphics.
Music by Super Composer Iku Mizutani, who also worked on the original game
Iku Mizutani returns to provide music for KAGE Shadow of the Ninja, as well as other Natsume titles such as Shatterhand and the Medabots series. His evocative guitar work has never sounded better.
Dynamic Production, which worked on the original, created the illustrations.
Dynamic Production, which previously handled the original in the 1990s and is known for Mazinger Z and Grendizer, is in charge of the core visuals and character illustrations.
